CNHLC has created an archive recording the occupational engagement of Chinese settlers in London from the 1880s to the present day. The project included an educational programme for school children in London and culminated in an exhibition for Londoners. The archive has enabled the wider community, including school children and researchers, to learn about Chinese heritage in London.
This project was delivered in partnership with London Metropolitan Archives (LMA) and London Chinese Community Network (LCCN) and funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
We are grateful to all the generous donors who contributed various items, and oral histories to the archive.
