Dementia Awareness & Support Project
Project update: Several workshops and activities on Alzheimer’s and dementia presented (by professionals from Alzheimer’s Society UK) have been planned and scheduled at a number of Chinese community organisations across London:

This project has also been mentioned in the news bulletin of TVB Europe on the 21st and 22nd July. The TV channel reports on how CNHLC provide dementia support and raise Alzheimer's awareness within the Chinese community in the UK.

Public Health Talk
We hold a public health talk on the 16th October 2014. Topics include: travel health, food poisoning and medical emergencies. It was given by the Chief Pharmacist of Watsons Pharmacy (UK) - Alex Leung. Free blood pressure measurement was available to attendees on the day.

Healthier Chinese Cuisine Training
We provide training to chefs in Chinese restaurants and takeaways to help them produce healthier menu options, without compromising on flavour. Developed from a project funded by the British Heart Foundation, our training has helped dozens of Chinese restaurants across the UK to reduce the fat, salt and sugar in their food.
